DUF 2011

We had a blast at Danzantes Unidos April 15-17. The kids participated in the classes and we did our Norteno performance on Sunday. It was a blast in Fresno. We are looking forward to next years.

WILLOW GLEN RELAY FOR LIFE

This Saturday Las Cruces Folklorico will be performing for Willow Glen Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society at 1:00PM at Willow Glen High School. Please come out and support us. There will be music and food.

This event is special to me because I lost my Grandma Terri to cancer last January. I will have my group dance in her honor as well as all the others that have passed, that is battling cancer, and for the survivors!

DUF 2010

Danzantes Undios was held at Evergreen College. This year was amazing for Las Cruces . All the kids enjoyed their time spent in the classes as well as our awesome show. This is the first time we performed at Dazantes Unidos.
My grandmother would have been so proud. I know she was there watching over us. When the group performed everyone one was cheering and clapping and it turned out so beautiful.
I am so proud of my students for coming this far and we are going strong. We look foward to next year !
